Nov. 5 Seminar Set at YSU on Importing, Selling Arms
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The International Traffic in Arms Regulations/Export Administration Regulations Program, sponsored by the International Trade Assistance Center at Youngstown State University, is set for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 5.
Robert Imbriani, whom YSU describes as “an expert on export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, the Export Administration Regulations and other U.S. export control laws and regulations,” will present the program.
The seminar is intended to provide those who attend with “a solid understanding of export compliance under ITAR/EAR, with a focus on export control reform,” Imbriani says. “It will further provide participants with an understanding of their responsibilities in supporting their companies’ compliance program.”
ITAR provides free services to businesses in Columbiana, Mahoning, Trumbull and Ashtabula counties interested in exporting and international trade.
The seminar will be held in Room 3418 of the Williamson College of Business Administration at YSU. Cost is $50 per person and includes continental breakfast.
