National Magazine Twice Honors Palo Creative
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Palo Creative has received two awards in the 2013 American Graphic Design competition sponsored by New York-based Graphic Design USA.
Palo work was recognized for projects it undertook for clients based in Girard, the first for a company brochure for Thompson Private Client Services, the second for a series on outdated technology advertising Centricity Automation Products. Josie Puskar, a graphic designer, developed the creative aspects of both projects.
This year, the competition received nearly 9,000 entries from across the country, 15% of which were recognized with certificates of excellence.
The Centricity project was a new technology versus old technology series for its EZ Indexer product, which replaces the outdated mechanical indexer equipment. The Thompson brochure was designed for its private client group that helps affluent clients with their insurance needs.
“Being recognized at this level is a big deal for us, and we’re excited to count ourselves among some of the best in the industry,” said Rob Palowitz, Palo president, in a prepared statement. “As our agency continues to grow and offers the best possible service, hopefully it will lead to more recognition as a major player in the industry.”
