McDonough Opens Spring Graduating BFA Show
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The works of 22 Youngstown State University students who are candidates for degrees as bachelor of fine arts this spring are featured in the Spring Graduating BFA Show in the McDonough Museum of Art on the YSU campus. The exhibition opens Friday and concludes May 9.
A reception for the artists will be held opening night from 6 to 8 p.m.
The show celebrates the students' work in graphic and interactive design, painting, photography, interdisciplinary studies and 3-D studies. Students displaying their works are Melanie Arnold, Blade Birch, Keeley Black, Devon Carr, Jenilee Daubenspeck, Brittany Dunlap, Kathleen Gallagher, Korey Herron, Paya Herron, Jaclyn Hill, Christopher Kamykowski, Sarah Kotlinski, Sara Oliver, Jamie Olmstead, Erika Olson, Jason Penezich, Joseph Perry, Lisa Perry, Susan Rowe, Natalie Shipula, Andrew Thomas and Joy White.
Hours for the McDonough are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The museum is open to the public, and admission is free.
