Lobster Boil to Benefit No Stone Unturned Foundation
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Covelli Centre will host the "No Stone Unturned Lobster Boil" on June 1. Tickets are $85 each, and corporate and VIP packages are available. The event is presented by Covelli Enterprises.
The No Stone Unturned Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and research of children with health initiatives and disabilities and their families. The foundation was established by Youngstown State University's head football coach, Eric Wolford, and his wife, Dr. Melinda Wolford, who were inspired by their son Stone, who was diagnosed at 2 years of age with cardio-facio-cutaneous syndrome, a rare genetic syndrome.
The Wolfords say No Stone Unturned was incorporated with three goals in mind: To provide support for individuals, their families and others touched by CFC syndrome and other debilitating disorders, raise awareness by providing information and training to the public, the medical community and school systems and to support \research that will enhance the lives of children with CFC syndrome and other genetic and neurological differences.
“The event will be held inside the arena, and we will have live music by Jimmy Buffet tribute band ‘Fins to the Left’, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere for everyone," said Eric Ryan, executive director of the Covelli Centre. "We’re very fortunate to have Covelli Enterprises as a presenting sponsor and WKBN, WYTV, WYFX, and Clear Channel radio as presenting media partners.”
The Lobster Broil will take place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a cocktail hour beginning at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7. Tickets and packages are on sale now and can be purchased by calling Tiffany Koma at 330 740 1865.
