Grocers Event to Benefit Ursuline Ministry, Prince of Peace
CANFIELD, Ohio -- The Youngstown Area Grocers Association's 9th Annual Wine & Beer Taste on March 14 will benefit the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown HIV/AIDS Ministry and the Prince of Peace Center in Farrell, Pa. The event will be held at Stambaugh Auditorium, Youngstown.
More than 100 wines and 50 microbrews will be available to sample and gourmet food will be served, said Sister Kathleen Minchin, founder and director of the HIV/AIDS ministry. Entertainment will be provided by the Buddy White Trio.
"All the money raised will be used to fund programs for low-income children living with HIV," said Brigid Kennedy, co-director of the ministry.
