Flynn's Tire Recognized as Army's PaYS Partner
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. -- The Cleveland Recruiting Battalion & New Castle Recruiting Co. will recognize Flynn’s Tire Group for its participation in the U.S. Army's Partnership for Youth Success Program July 1, Joe Flynn III has announced.
Flynn is president of the company that he says is the newest PaYS partner.
The recognition ceremony and partnership signing will be held at Flynn's corporate headquarters here from 10:45 a.m. to noon.
The PaYS Program is a strategic partnership between the Army and a cross section of corporations, companies, and public sector agencies. The program provides America’s youth with an opportunity to serve their country while they prepare for careers after they’re discharged. PaYS partners guarantee soldiers an interview and possible employment after the Army.
Flynn's Tire Group, established in 1964, is a regional tire wholesaler that remains a family-owned business. It has grown from one site in Mercer to 27 retail, wholesale and commercial locations.
