El Vallarta to Celebrate Grand Opening Tuesday Night
POLAND, Ohio -- The Mahoning Valley's newest Mexican Restaurant, El Vallarta, will celebrate its grand opening at 6 p.m. Tuesday, owner Juan Vazquez announced Thursday. The restaurant opened March 30 in the former Lone Star Steakhouse on Boardman-Poland Road.
Vazquez and his family own and manage the restaurant. He has been in the hospitality business 14 years and his family has extensive experience running Mexican restaurants.
“The first two months we have been open here have been amazing with all the support we've gotten from the Youngstown community,” Vazquez said in a prepared statement.
“This is our way of giving back a little bit to those who have been there with us every step of the way. As part of the celebration, we will feature a mariachi band from 6 to 9 p.m. and offer 25% off the bill for food. We only waited until now to do it because we wanted to make sure we worked out all the kinks. We want to offer the best possible experience to our diners.”
The newly remodeled restaurant offers 6,300 square feet with seating for 200, a full bar and a large selection of Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is open seven days a week.
