Columbiana Chamber Hosts Shale Event Nov. 9
COLUMBIANA, Ohio -- The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce will host a business breakfast Nov. 9 at Das Dutch Haus Restaurant. The topic is "Working with the Shale Industry."
The presentation will include a panel of area businessmen who will share their insight and experiences within this fast growing economic opportunity in Columbiana County. Discussion will center around how they developed relationships with prime and subprime contractors in the energy-related fields.
Panelists are Jerry Stoneburner of Better Management Corp. of Ohio and Buckeye Transfer Realty LLC, Rex Ferry of Valley Electric, Alan D. Wenger of Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell Ltd, Larry Burns III of Graft Electric and Jason Wilson, director of the Governor’s Office of Appalachia.
The event begins at 7:15 a.m. with breakfast at 7:30 and presentations by panelists at 7:45 followed by a question and answer session concluding 9 a.m. Cost is $10 for chamber members and $15 for those who aren’t, says April D. Brinker, chamber executive director.
