Clear Channel Named 'Champion for Valley's Children'
BOARDMAN, Ohio -- Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley will recognize Clear Channel Youngstown as “Champion for Our Valley’s Children” May 14 at the hospital’s third annual Champions for Our Valley’s Children. In addition, 15 individuals and organizations will be honored with a “Children’s Advocate Award.”
The Champions for Our Valley’s Children event will highlight progress the hospital has made in the Mahoning Valley and recognize those who have helped to make it possible. Among them are donors, volunteers, staff and community partners.
“In 2012, a total of 1,982 donors contributed $2,143,700 to support our local programs and services,” said JoAnn Stock, director of development at Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

Clear Channel Youngstown will be recognized as the 2013 “Champions for our Valley’s Children” for its “outstanding support and generosity,” Stock said.
