Chamber Highlights Opportunities in Republic of Macedonia
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and the Republic of Macedonia will host a presentation of business investment opportunities with Macedonia on March 5. The free event will bring together members of the Youngstown-Warren business community and a delegation from Macedonia, including the country’s deputy prime minister.
Information will be presented about the history, business climate, growth industries and investment opportunities in the republic. Officials also are interested in learning about how their business community can invest in the Mahoning Valley, creating business partnerships and educational internships among other topics.
The morning's agenda will include presentations from Zoran Jolevski, Ph.D., ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to the United States; keynote speaker Vladimir Peshevski, deputy prime minister of the Republic of Macedonia; and Visar Fida, CEO of Invest Macedonia. After the program, Chamber members will have the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with the Macedonian officials.
