Business Networking Mixer Set for March 6 at Tippecanoe
CANFIELD, Ohio – “Strictly Business,” a networking mixer, is set for 5 p.m. March 6 at Tippecanoe Country Club. The event is co-sponsored by the Mahoning Valley Young Professionals, the country club and The Business Journal.
“The business mixer is an opportunity to mix and mingle with business people who represent industries and companies in and around the Mahoning Valley,” said Andrea Wood, publisher of The Business Journal. “We work closely with the Mahoning Valley Young Professionals and place a high value on this kind of opportunity to ‘mix the generations,’ so to speak, so that we get the benefit of solid experience on the one hand and new insights on the other.”
Robert Ferraro, president of the country club, said the mixer is “a great opportunity to reach small and large companies, meet new clients and learn how networking can make your business grow.”
Hosting the business mixer is an opportunity for Tippecanoe Country Club to fulfill its mission to serve both its members and the community, Ferraro said. “Our members and our neighbors can mingle with other successful professionals, enabling them to network, build strategic alliances, gain fresh perspectives and referral sources, and meet new friends,” he pointed out.
Each participant will receive a business kit that contains the marketing collateral of all those who attend. Participants are encouraged to bring something to be placed in the kit to promote their businesses.
The mixer begins at 5 p.m. and will feature a wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres. Admission is $15. Promotional tables are available at $100 each. Register by Feb. 28 by calling Jennifer Campbell at 330 759 5081.
