Vacation Express Offers Special Deal on Tickets
ATLANTA -- Vacation Express is offering one nearly free round-trip flight for each passenger aboard flights that were delayed on April 11. The offer is valid for flights between Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, Vienna, Ohio, Wilkes Barre-Scranton, Pa., and Orlando Sanford International Airport in Florida. The tickets, which are free except for certain restrictions (see below) are being offered to the delayed passengers to thank them for their patience and to encourage their support of Vacation Express. "Delays are unfortunate and part of the airline business, but we want to be sure that our customers know we are sorry for their inconvenience, and we want to make it a positive experience by offering a free ticket," states Victoria Simitses, the company's marketing manager.The free flight-only vouchers are valid for travel through Sept. 30, and certain blackout dates and restrictions apply. The offer is limited to one round-trip ticket per passenger.The fare does not include Sept. 11 Security Fee up to $10; PFC's up to $18; and segment fees of up to $12.40. Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged for a $50 fee plus any difference in fare at time of booking. Vacation Express and its sister company, SunTrips, serve more than 250,000 passengers per year.
