Monday, April 16, 2012YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- ValleyCare Health System of Ohio seeks to honor its nurses through the Patient Choice Award program. The award recognizes the level of quality care, comfort and compassion offered by nurses each day.
One nurse from each ValleyCare hospital will be chosen from nominations to receive the Patient Choice Award. The winners will be announced during Nurses Week May 6 to 12.
Northside Medical Center, Trumbull Memorial Hospital and Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital are asking former patients and family members to be involved by spotlighting an exceptional nurse because patients are the ones directly impacted by outstanding care.
Nominations for the 2012 Patient Choice Award will be accepted until April 27 and can be made online at the hospital’s website. Nominations also can also be mailed to marketing director, 1350 East Market St., Warren, OH 44483.
