Tuesday, April 24, 2012STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -- Eastern Gateway Community College students can avoid the late registration rush and sign up for summer semester classes at the college's Valley Center at Choffin Career and Technical Center in Youngstown. Enrollment days are scheduled for April 27 and May 16.
Registration will take place on the fourth floor. The hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 27 and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 16.
Although students may enroll daily at the center, special days have been set to encourage students to complete the process before the last-minute rush. Admissions staff, advisors, financial aid personnel and others will be available to help students through the process.
During registration students can complete the admissions application process, file for financial aid (2011 W-2 or tax return required) and complete placement testing. Final enrollment steps will be set as well. Students transferring from another institution to Eastern Gateway should bring an official transcript so credits may be evaluated.
