Wednesday, January 07, 2015BOARDMAN, Ohio -- The Swedish clothing retailer H&M will join the mix of tenants at Southern Park Mall, Simon Property Group announced this morning.
H&M, known for its fast-fashion clothing offerings for women, men, teenagers and children, will occupy 18,000 square feet in the Sears concourse of the mall. The store is tentatively scheduled to open in early summer.
Additionally, two of the mall’s current tenants -- Victoria’s Secret and American Eagle -- will undertake changes this year.
Victoria’s Secret will expand and relocate its current store to the JCPenney concourse. The new location will be approximately 1,000 square feet larger than the current location, and be closer to its sister store, Pink, Simon reported.
American Eagle plans to remodel its existing store. The clothing retailer will remain open throughout construction in a relocated space.
Both retailers expect to complete their projects this spring.
