INDIANAPOLIS -- In recognition of Earth Day, HHGregg stores will host an electronics recycling event in stores April 19-21. The public is invited to dispose of used electronics, including cameras, camcorders, computers, TVs and more for free.
“Recycling electronic equipment keeps waste out of landfills and prevents toxic materials like lead and mercury from potentially leaking into the ground and polluting the environment," said Dennis May, president and CEO.
In the Mahoning Valley region, HHGregg has stores in Boardman and St. Clairsville.
As customers drop off their outdated and used electronics to be recycled, they can replace them on the spot and take advantage of HHGregg’s Earth Day specials. Offerings include 10% to 20% off major appliances, plus an additional 5% off major appliance purchases over $499 when using an hhgregg credit card. Customers will be able to take advantage of special financing options on items throughout the store.
