YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Jim Tressel, former head football coach at Ohio State university and at Youngstown State University, will be the keynote speaker for the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley’s seventh annual “Champions Among Us” dinner.
The event, sponsored by PNC Bank, will be held May 17 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman. Joining the five-time national champion football coach will be Michael Zordich, former Cardinal Mooney High School and current Penn State football player, who will be honored by the United Way as the local champion who has represented the Valley in a positive manner.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a silent auction and cash bar. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program and live auction.
