UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State University's new head football coach Bill O'Brien will headline the Penn State Coaches Caravan, a tour that will take place over three weeks across Pennsylvania, Ohio and the East Coast.
On May 15, the caravan will stop in Boardman, Ohio. The stop will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Boardman and will include lunch, a brief program and a question-and-answer session with O'Brien and other coaches. Coaching participants include O'Brien, Coquese Washington, women's basketball coach, Guy Gadowsky, men's hockey coach, and Mark Pavlik, men's volleyball coach.
The Penn State Coaches Caravan begins its tour today and finishes on May 16. In addition to a stop in Boardman, the Coaches Caravan will include stops in Pittsburgh, Penn State Erie, The Behrend College and Cleveland, as well as several other areas.
The cost to attend is $45 for non-members of the Penn State Alumni Association, $30 for members; children ages 6 to 18, $15. Dress is business, casual or Penn State attire.
