PNC Donating Office Furniture to Nonprofits
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Area nonprofit agencies will have the opportunity to choose today from more than 300 pieces of furniture being donated by PNC Bank.
PNC, which earlier this month relocated its downtown branch and regional headquarters to City Centre One, is donating all unused office furniture to the local nonprofit community. The furniture will be available for area agencies to view and reserve at the Sheet Metal Workers Local 33 Hall, 200 McClurg Road in Boardman, from noon to 4 p.m. today and continuingthe next several days.
The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley will serve as the coordinator for this donation. Items such as desks, chairs, filing cabinets and bookshelves are available to all local nonprofit groups, regardless of their United Way affiliation.
“Our United Way is very appreciative of this generous donation from PNC Bank,” said Bob Hannon, president, United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. “We are eager to be coordinating this project which will help the local nonprofit community better provide their services to those in need in the Mahoning Valley.”
For information, call the United Way office at 330 746 8494.
