FastSigns of Boardman Marks 15 Years in Business

BOARDMAN, Ohio -- FastSigns of Boardman is celebrating 15 years of providing local businesses and organizations with signs and visual graphics, report the company’s owners, Jay and Penny Summer.
“2014 was the company’s biggest sales year to date, which is a testament to my team’s hard work and dedication,” said Jay Summer in announcing the milestone. “We want to continue our growth in 2015 and plan on adding a router and engraver machine to our equipment line-up to further expand our product offerings.”
Most products and services FastSigns of Boardman provides are for business and commercial applications. These include regulatory signs, temporary yard signs, permanent monument signs, banners, digital signage, acrylic stand-offs, wall murals and vehicle wraps.
“In 1999, we started with a 15-inch plotter for creating cut vinyl letters for yard signs and banners,” Summer noted. “Now we have a UV flatbed printer to produce photo-quality graphics; a solvent printer for vinyl, gloss paper and banners; a 63-inch plotter for intricate decals and lettering; and a 28-foot bucket truck for installations.”
Summer said his company has maintained many of the customers it served in its first year. Among them are Rondinelli’s and Alterations Express, Youngstown State University, Home Savings, Bezac, Palo Creative and Muscle Connection.
“Customers become friends and we cherish all of the relationships we’ve made throughout the years,” he said.
In 2014, Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course was one of the company’s largest customers, he said. Summer and his team provided a variety of visual solutions to brand Hollywood Gaming’s new facility and promote events, including the grand opening in September.
