Williams, Execs to Join MVMC Summit on April 12

Kent State, Employers Meet with Ohio Legislators
Wednesday, March 28, 2012KENT, Ohio -- Some 40 Ohio employers are traveling to Columbus today to join representatives from Kent State University and alumni. They will take part in the university's annual Kent State Day at the Statehouse, meeting with 21 legislators and other state officials.
EGCC Holds Shale Training Information Sessions April 4
Tuesday, March 27, 2012WARREN, Ohio -- Eastern Gateway Community College and the city of Warren are hosting two information sessions on upcoming shale gas job-training opportunities. The two-hour events will be held April 4 at Packard Music Hall in Warren.
Information will be provided on entry-level jobs, the training programs offered by the college, program requirements and what is involved in the application process.
The two sessions are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. The sessions are free and require no registration.
