Kutlick Realty Sells Thunderplex to Animal Welfare League
Thursday, April 05, 2012BOARDMAN, Ohio – Kutlick Realty announced Wednesday that it represented Home Federal Savings and Loan in the sale of the former Thunderplex, 812 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Vienna Township, to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County. The organization paid $550,000 for the property, a 20-acre parcel with a 45,000-square-foot building.
In a news release announcing three other transactions, Bill Kutlick, broker, said Hoover Fence purchased a 65,800-square-foot warehouse building located on 5.89 acres in Newton Falls. The sale price was $200,000, he noted.
Taylor Elected President of Auto Dealers Board
Wednesday, April 04, 2012VIENNA, Ohio -- Matthew E. Taylor has been elected the 2012-2013 president of the board of trustees for the Automobile Dealers Association of Eastern Ohio. He is managing partner at Taylor Kia in Boardman, where he has been employed since 2002.
Taylor was associated with the Garber Auto Group in Michigan and Florida from 1998 to 2002, leaving as general manager/dealer principal. Born and raised in the Youngstown area, he is a 1993 graduate of Boardman High School and earned a degree in business administration in 1998 from Northwood University in Midland, Mich.
Cruze Sales Exceed 20,000 for 7th Consecutive Month
Tuesday, April 03, 2012DETROIT -- Deliveries of the Lordstown-produced Chevrolet Cruze totaled 21,607 in March, exceeding sales of 20,000 units for the seventh month and marking its seventh consecutive month of higher year-over-year sales, General Motors Co. announced this morning.
Steel Import Market Share Up to 23%
Tuesday, April 03, 2012WASHINGTON -- The United States imported a total of 2,689,000 net tons of steel in February, including 2,051,000 net tons of finished steel in February, preliminary Census Bureau figures show. That's down 5% and 7%, respectively, from January's final data.
GM Touts Sales of Fuel Efficient Vehicles
Tuesday, April 03, 2012DETROIT – Combined U.S. sales of the 12 General Motors vehicles that get an EPA estimated 30 mpg or better on the highway are expected to reach 100,000 units or more in March, the highest total in company history, GM reported late Monday. The automaker will release its total March sales this morning.
