Covelli Enterprises to Open Panera, DQs on Turnpike
Friday, April 20, 2012WARREN, Ohio – Covelli Enterprises will open two Panera Bread restaurants and two Dairy Queen restaurants in the Mahoning Valley and Glacier Hills plazas along the Ohio Turnpike this fall, the company announced Thursday.
Kerns Named Youngstown Postmaster
Thursday, April 19, 2012YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The U.S. Postal Service has named Thomas Kerns of Niles as the 34th postmaster of Youngstown.
Kerns, who assumes his new duties effective Saturday, will be responsible for overseeing mail collection, delivery services, and retail operations in Youngstown, Austintown, Boardman, Poland and Liberty Township. The 278 employees of the Youngstown Post Office deliver to 82,716 residential and businesses addresses.

Nature's Wonders Greenhouse, preparing to open on West Western Reserve Road about a mile west of Market Street, will sell rare heirloom and organic plants from around the world, its owners say.

Denise Fletcher, manager of the Arthur Treacher’s in Austintown, reports her store had its best Lenten seasons in three years, selling almost twice as many meals as it did last year.
