WARREN, Ohio -- The Eastern Ohio Education Partnership has been awarded grants from four foundations to support its collective impact model.
The model analyzes data to identify education programs doing “great work” and organizes the individuals doing such work to create and measure a shared set of goals, says Nicole Ferraro, chairman of the partnership board.
The partnership has received $165,000 from The Raymond John Wean Foundation, $25,000 from the Youngstown Foundation, $10,000 from the Frank & Pearl Gelbman Foundation and $5,000 from the Ward Beecher Foundation.
With the support of these foundations, the partnership will analyze data on student performance to help districts determine which programs and processes work, Ferraro says.
As an entity that involves school districts across Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties, the education partnership is working in the Warren City, Youngstown City, Campbell City and United Local school districts.
