Friday, January 09, 2015CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Team NEO today named Grant Goodrich of Cleveland as interim CEO while the organization searches for a permanent CEO.
Goodrich, who was director of regional strategy implementation with the Fund for Our Economic Future, will provide “needed continuity and direction for the organization” as its board conducts its search, according to an announcement posted at the Team NEO website.
Team NEO and NorTech also are in the process of consolidating into a single organization that has adopted the Team NEO name.
At the Fund for Our Economic Future, Goodrich “played an integral role in advancing a regional economic competitiveness strategy” for northeastern Ohio “and was instrumental in facilitating an analysis of the region’s economic development system," the announcement stated.
The Summit County native also served as senior research administrator for international projects for The Earth Institute at Columbia University at New York. Additionally, he was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps for 14 years, during which he held various command, support and joint operations staff positions.
