YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Brilex Industries, an international fabricating, machining, and assembly provider, reports 18 of its employees have earned their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications by participating in a certification program that included 40 hours of direct instructor training, followed by a successfully executed certification project.
The employees were trained with the ability to apply the quality tools and techniques of all elements in the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Six Sigma operates through both statistical and human processes to eliminate the causes of errors and develop efficiencies in productivity, which consequently reduces costs.
Brilex says it will use Lean Six Sigma project methodology across the entire organization; additional employee training is scheduled for early 2013 at each Brilex manufacturing location, the company says. The Brilex Group includes Brilex Industries Inc., Boltech Inc., Taylor-Winfield Technologies Inc., Quality Machine LLC, Amrod Bridge & Iron LLC, eneXa Inc., and BBM Railway Equipment Inc.

Her pertinent experience includes project management, public relations and graphic design. She will oversee all marketing efforts as well as establish the necessary tools for enhanced communications, both inside and outside of the firm.
