Manufacturing Caucus Panel to Feature NAMII President
WASHINGTON – Ralph Resnick of the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute in Youngstown will be among the participants in the House Manufacturing Caucus’ first event of the 113th Congress. Resnick, president and founding director of NAMII, will discuss additive manufacturing processes and technologies and worldwide manufacturing competitiveness.
NAMII, a federally funded join public-private venture, is the first of a series of pilot centers President Obama announced last year. It opened in Youngstown last year.
This morning’s event is being convened by U.S. Reps. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, and Tom Reed, R-N.Y., co-chairmen of the House Manufacturing Caucus. Aric Newshouse of the National Association of Manufacturers and Emily Foster of Cummins Inc. will also speak at the meeting.
