COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Jim Guliano, a native of Warren, has been named vice president of quality programs by the Ohio Hospital Association. He assumed his duties a month ago.
In his role, Guliano directs the development and implementation of patient safety and clinical quality programs in concert with hospitals throughout the Buckeye State and other providers of health care. The OHA says, “He will lead a team of quality professionals with clinical backgrounds to evaluate successful hospital patient safety and clinical quality practices, coordinate quality programs across Ohio and facilitate implementation of best practices.”
Before joining the OHA, Guliano was vice president for patient care and chief nursing officer at St. John Medical Center, Cleveland, and director of nursing resources and manager for organizational development with University Hospitals Health System. Before that he was an instructor and staff nurse in critical care at the former Forum Health.
