YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The Affordable Colleges Foundation ranks Youngstown State University’s online master’s of business administration program among the best in the nation for 2014-2015.

The program in YSU’s Williamson College of Business Administration is ranked 21st of the 68 online MBA programs included in the rankings, placing YSU in the top third nationally in the Best Online MBA Programs list.

The Affordable Colleges Foundation, founded in 2011, provides and information about pursuing an affordable higher education. The foundation analyzed data from thousands of colleges and universities nationwide to identify outstanding online MBA programs. Factors considered include student-faculty ratio, percentage of faculty with a PhD, number of online MBA options, number of MBAs conferred, and the full tuition of online the MBA program.

“Flexibility and affordability in online MBA programs is important, but quality cannot be ignored,” says Dan Schuessler, founder and chief executive of the Affordable Colleges Foundation. “The online MBA programs on our list offer students the same level of academic excellence and student support that is expected of campus-based programs.”
