YSU Grad to Discuss ‘Entrepreneurship Tango’ March 20
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Youngstown State University graduate Patricia Mishic, vice president and chief marketing officer for A. Schulman Inc., will deliver a luncheon lecture at 12:15 p.m. March 20. Her presentation, “Dancing the Corporate Entrepreneurship Tango: Lessons Learned,” is part of the Williamson Symposium Lecture Series.
Open sessions with Mishic will be held at 2 and 6 p.m. in the auditorium of Williamson Hall.
Mishic, named to her post in January 2012, is responsible for overseeing A. Schulman's global marketing and sales strategy, coordinating global technical activities and managing the company’s growth playbook. A. Schulman is an international supplier of high-performance plastic compounds and resins headquartered in Akron.
Before joining A. Schuman, Mishic was the global director of marketing excellence for the performance materials and performance plastics divisions at Dow Chemical Co., based in Midland, Mich.
She holds an MBA from the University of Akron and a baccalaureate in business administration from YSU. She also completed the Babson College and IMD executive management and entrepreneurial programs.
The Williamson Symposium brings an executive on campus to meet with faculty and students in YSU’s business administration program.
