YBI to Announce Strategic Plan, Fundraising Campaign
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Business Incubator will unveil its new five-year strategic plan and fundraising campaign at a news conference this afternoon.
Speakers at the media event will include YBI’s CEO, Jim Cossler; Barb Ewing, chief operating officer, Chuck Stein, president of SDS Consulting; Jim Yukech, YBI fundraising chairman; Mike Broderick, CEO of Turning Technologies; Bruce Beeghly, YBI campaign co-chairman; and Doug Sweeney, president of Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC.
Three weeks ago, YBI released the results of two studies it has conducted to quantify its economic impact and how it is perceived. At the time, YBI said information from the studies would be used to justify the use of its funds to its existing donors and to encourage new donors, and would be featured in advertising for the incubator. The event also featured the unveiling of a new tagline for YBI, "The future rebooted."
The Youngstown Business Incubator focuses on developing business-to-business software companies housed at its downtown buildings, through its Inspire Lab and offsite as well.
