Table Games Revenue in Pa. Rises 6.1% in July
HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Revenues in July from table games such as poker and blackjack played in the 12 casinos in Pennsylvania was $59.9 million, the state Gaming Control Board reports. That represents a 6.1% increase in revenues over July 2012.
Coupled with figures on revenues from slot machines released earlier this month by the Gaming Control Board, overall gross revenue from both slots and table games was $264,860,050 compared to $269,354,774 in July 2012, or a decrease of 1.7%.
Gross revenues from table games at Presque Isle Downs in Erie was $1,097,390 from 46 tables compared with $1,548,794 for July 2012 with 53 tables. Presque Isle Downs is owned and operated by MTR Gaming Inc., Chester, W.Va., which also owns and operates Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort in Chester.
Gross revenue at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, with 114 tables, was $5,328,774 compared with $5,228,798 for July 2012 with 116 tables.
