Stambaugh Auditorium Board Elects Cloonas President
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Terrence Cloonas has been elected president of the Henry H. Stambaugh Auditorium Association Board of Trustees. He succeeds William Conti, who stepped down as president and resigned from the board to accept the position as director of development relations and capital projects at the auditorium.
Mark Gasser, president of Gasser Chair Co., was chosen to fill the seat vacated by Conti. Other officers are Phyllis "Jeanne" Simeone, vice president, David J. Konik, treasurer, and Barbara Tinkham, secretary. In addition to Gasser, trustees include David Sabine and John Yerian III.
Stambaugh Auditorium is a nonprofit public auditorium that opened in 1926 through the generous gift of Youngstown area businessman Henry H. Stambaugh. Administrative staff members, most of whom were assembled over the course of last year, include Matt Pagac, general manager; Carissa O'Connor, director of operations; Chris Lewis, director of marketing and public relations; Conti, director of development relations and capital projects; Tonya Gabriel, director of design & digital media; Kim Slattery, bookkeeper; Jackie Bibo, fund development officer; and Bernadette Lim, box office manager.
