Bruce & Merrilees Opens Baltimore Office
NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Bruce & Merrilees Electric Co. has opened a regional office in Abingdon, Md., northeast of Baltimore, to serve its customers in the Mid-Atlantic region. The office, opened as part of the company’s strategic growth plan, will serve the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States and will focus on transportation projects as well as support regional high-voltage construction projects, executives said.
The company has completed projects in the region for the last several years and views it as a strategic fit to open a permanent facility and build a local workforce.
“We focus on being the safest contractor to service our customers, and being local to the Mid-Atlantic region further reinforces our ability to perform the work in the safest and highest quality manner,” said Jay Bruce, president and CEO.
The electrical project construction and management firm specializes in transportation, high voltage, industrial, power and commercial projects.
“We are very excited to make this expansion move and build a team to support the existing work as well as the upcoming projects for the entire Mid-Atlantic region,” said Doug Little, vice president – transportation for Bruce & Merrilees.
