Farmers Bank Initiates 'Random Acts of Kindness'
CANFIELD, Ohio -- Patrons of Handel's Ice Cream on state Route 224 were treated to to quarts, cones and shakes June 22 as part of Farmers National Bank's new "Random Acts of Kindness" campaign.
"As a local community bank, Farmers National Bank is always looking for ways to connect with its neighbors and customers -- and sometimes the results are pretty sweet," the company said in a news release.
On June 22, the bank took over the cash registers at the Handel’s here. "It was an unannounced, covert operation in Farmers’ Random Acts of Kindness campaign," the bank said.
During the giveaway, Farmers paid the tab on 193 orders totaling $723.90.
More random-kindess events are forthcoming, the bank said, with events planned for the end of summer and fall.
Farmers National Bank reports more than $1 billion in banking assets and $1 billion in trust assets. The company operates 19 banking locations and two trust offices throughout Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana and Stark counties.
