Lawrence/Mercer County Women Host Athena Day
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Women from Lawrence and Mercer counties will convene at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24 for the third annual Athena International's Women's Leadership Day dinner at the Park Inn by Radisson in West Middlesex.
A committeee of female leaders from Lawrence and Mercer counties will host the dinner, sponsored by the Community Foundation of Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.
Established female leaders are encouraged to invite a woman they see as an emerging leader as their guest. Those who attend will participate in coordinated networking, hear from a panel of female leaders and participate in table discussions about the Athena principles of leadership. Proceeds will benefit the Women’s Fund in the Community Foundation in support of future leadership development events.
