Kent Trumbull Job Fair Seeks Employers
WARREN, Ohio -- Kent State University at Trumbull, Champion Township, will host its annual Fall Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 8, the university announced Thursday. Representatives from regional business, industry and Kent State will have information about various jobs and academic opportunities.
The fair, to be held in Room 174 of the Technology Building, is free and open to the public.
Those who attend are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and interview attire is recommended. Participants also will be able to take part in mock interviews and have their resumes critiqued.
A partial list of attending vendors includes Aflac, Avon, Comfort Keepers and Crossroads Hospice. "The most qualified employees in the region are about to earn their degrees from Kent State University at Trumbull and begin their job searches," said Anthony Zampino, associate lecturer, computer technology, in a prepared statement. "We are very excited to showcase our well-prepared students from a variety of disciplines."
One goal is to arrange mock interviews with representatives from local companies and members of the Kent State Trumbull community. The interviews will include a review of résumés and cover letters.
Companies interested in participating in the Job Fair and/or conducting mock interviews are invited to complete a form at this website or call Zampino at 330 675 7613.
