Chamber Sessions Focus on Doing Business with Canada
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Doing business with Canada is the topic of March 15 one-on-one sessions hosted by the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber's international business attraction department. The sessions are open to any company in the Mahoning Valley that has questions or issues on the topic.
Four 30-minute sessions will be available free of charge.
Dan Ujczo of the cross-border law firm Dickinson Wright will lend his expertise in Canada-U.S. regulations and Nafta to local companies. Ujczo, a native of Warren, once served as an officer in the Department of Foreign Affairs-Canada. In this capacity, he coordinated a network responsible for homeland security and customs/regulatory issues on the Canada-U.S. border, and was responsible for advancing Canada-U.S. interests in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. He also served as the managing director of the Canada-United States Law Institute, an organization of cross-border corporate leaders, legal practitioners and scholars.
