Allstate Recognizes Zeidenstein for Volunteer Work
CANFIELD, Ohio -- Mark Zeidenstein, an insurance agent at the L. Calvin Jones Agency, has been recognized with the Allstate Foundation’s Agency Hands in the Community award that carries a grant of $1,000 to the cause the volunteer works in behalf of.
Zeidenstein, who’s served on the board of the Northern Ohio chapter of the National Safety Council since the early 1990s, assigned the grant to the chapter.
“Mark has served us well,” said Larry Kingston, director of the Northern Ohio chapter in Youngstown. “He’s served on our board of control, is a past president and past treasurer. He’s again serving as our board treasurer.”
In a prepared statement, Zeidenstein said, “We’re proud to support the National Safety Council. The grant from the Allstate Foundation will provide much-needed support for its programming.”
To qualify for the grant, agents must show evidence of volunteer work that has had a positive impact on the local community, the Allstate Foundation says.
