Ryan Votes Against Funding; Johnson, Kelly Vote Yes

Tim Ryan blasted the continuing resolution approved Wednesday by the U.S. House of Representatives to continue funding of the federal government though September. The resolution keeps in place cuts forced on domestic programs by the sequester while softening the blow for military and veterans affairs programs.
The House voted 267-151 Wednesday to approve the Republican-led resolution, which now moves onto the U.S. Senate for consideration. The resolution continues funding for the government past March 27, when the current funding authorization expires.
Chamber Sessions Focus on Doing Business with Canada

Hotel Project in the Works as Development Accelerates

Home Prices Rise in Youngstown-Warren-Boardman
Wednesday, March 06, 2013IRVINE, Calif. – The prices of residences in the Youngstown-Warren-Boardman area rose 11.7% in January compared with January 2012. The increase includes distressed sales.
On a month-over-month basis, housing prices, including distressed sales, fell 1.5% in January compared to December 2012, according to the latest CoreLogic Home Price Index. Excluding distressed sales, year-over-year prices rose 8.8% in January compared to January 2012. Month-over-month, excluding distressed sales, home prices increased by 0.3 % in January compared to December.
