ATLANTA – Aerodynamics Inc. this morning announced F. Darrell Richardson as its new CEO, president and chairman of the company. Richardson replaces Scott A. Beale, whose involvement with the carrier is at the heart of an order issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation last week questioning ADI’s fitness to operate.
Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport has been working with ADI to potentially provide service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Vallourec Star is making adjustments to its operations here in the face of plummeting oil prices, the company said Monday.
"In response to the declining oil and gas market, Vallourec Star is developing alternative operating plans and schedules. These plans include flexibility in scheduling production, overtime and contractors. We are also working with suppliers and customers to closely monitor activity," the company said.
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- WKBN Television announced Monday that its veteran meteorologist, Don Guthrie, died Sunday at age 71.
Guthrie had been battling pancreatic cancer since May. He died at his home here, the TV station said. Calling hours are Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at St. Christine Church on Schenley Avenue. A prayer service will be held there Friday at 10 a.m. The public is invited to both observances, WKBN said.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The U.S. Department of Transportation has issued a “tentative decision” against Aerodynamics Inc.’s proposal to provide daily passenger service from Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport to Chicago, says the company has “failed to demonstrate it continues to be fit to operate as an air carrier” under the control of owner Scott Beale.
