Grove City College Gets Robotics Grant
Monday, March 19, 2012GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grable Foundation has awarded Grove City College a $10,000 grant from to fund the Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology Robotics competition. The 2012 Wolverine BEST Robotics Competition kicks off Sept. 8 in the college's Pew Fine Arts Center.

Acorn Founder to Speak at YSU
Monday, March 12, 2012YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Wade Rathke, chief organizer for ACORN International, will speak on “Labor and Community Organizing: Boundaries and Opportunities” on the campus of Youngstown State University March 20.
Rathke is the author of "Citizen Wealth: Winning the Campaign to Save Working Families."
The lecture is part of the YSU Center for Working-Class Studies 2011-2012 Lecture Series. It is co-sponsored by the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Gerontology Social Work.

Penn State Shenango Hosts Technology/Career Expo
Thursday, March 08, 2012SHARON, Pa. -- The community is invited to attend the 2012 Penn State Shenango Technology/Career Expo March 20 through 22. The expo will be held in the Shenango Avenue auditorium.
The three-day expo will include workshops on careers in allied health, business/information, sciences and technology and human service. The public is invited to participate in one or all of the three-day workshops. No reservations are necessary.
